Valiant Restraint makes it known they're looking for some folks to help coordinate with something for the Olympic games - especially those of the Children of Gaia, Bone Gnawers, Black Furies, White Howlers, and Silver Fangs as Olympus is a Silver Fang led sept.

"Our pack follows Lion, as most of you are aware. Lion's ban requires that we put a stop to any hunts that are purely for sport. As such, with the Olympics coming, I have been thinking of ways to bring the sporting events in to harmony with the wishes of the Spirits.

My idea is this: We need to ensure that no animal slain during the Olympics is killed in vain. I wish to encourage that any slain animal being used to feed and clothe the less fortunate, and any other parts be used to provide for the artisans and their students.

I would like to ensure we are bringing this to the sept hosting the games in a way that is respectful of their autonomy and the Litany - I wish to bring the idea to them so they may decide, but I feel that working together to support the idea might be best. I am not as good with words and etiquette as many in this sept are - perhaps one of our -Rhyas if we offer to help them find the time?

Please, let me know if you are interested - especially if you've connections with the sept at Olympus that we might bring the idea to them. I also have Temple influence and can help drum up support in the Human populace, but do not wish to overstep."

The Wolves of the Aegean are from Laurel Wreath, and I have known Olympionikes for most of my life, and I can assure you that no animal is killed just for sport. Every life taken, both animal and mortal are in the honor of the gods. If this is your first Olympics then know that the whole event is a giant ceremony to honor Zeus. I hope this puts the followers of Lion at ease.

If any of you plan on participating, then make sure you bring the customary offerings for the Lord of Thunder. Know that the start of the games will open with several dozen oxen given as sacrifices in His honor. We will feast on their blessed meet the night before the first events takes place.

Your reassurances are most appreciated! I know that these are made in offerings to the gods, but of course spirits have their own wisdom and requirements of us. We would be remiss if we did not perform our due diligence - I very greatly appreciate the explanation though.
